Yin Yoga

Service Description

Yin yoga classes consist of a small number of postures held for 2-5 minutes each. The goal of Yin yoga is to create sensation in the pose by finding the shape that's near your end range and holding for the length of time. In this practice, the connective tissue surrounding the joints and muscle is stretched, increasing circulation in those areas. Yin yoga is a great way to balance a lifestyle that's heavy on yang - such as regular movement and strength activities. Yin is also a great mental practice of sitting in the discomfort of whatever may arise in the mind during the holds. Class will end with a short yang flow to move the released energy through the body.

Cancellation Policy

Classes cancelled greater than 24 hours prior to class start time will receive a full refund. Classes cancelled within 24 hours of class start time will receive a credit valid toward a future class.
